ORLANDO, Fla. — AdventHealth has unveiled its plans to turn the property once home to the Holy Land Experience into a hospital and medical offices.

The proposed project for AdventHealth Millenia will be done in two phases along 14.21 acres on the northeast corner of Vineland Road and Conroy Road.

The first phase will consist of a four-story, 80,000 square-foot building with associated parking, a helipad “and the master infrastructure to serve future phases of the hospital,” according to the project description.

The first floor of the new building will consist of a 2,000 square-foot generator building and 20,000 square-foot offsite emergency department, the project description states. The second floor will house a 20,000 square-foot medical office, and the third and fourth, each 19,0000 square feet, will consist of either a medical office or ambulatory surgical center.

An existing stormwater management system will be used for improvements during phase one, the project description states.

Phase two development is expected to contain a five-story, 261,500 square foot hospital.

Two of the existing buildings on the site of the Holy Land Experience are proposed to remain for future potential use, according to the project description.

The project will also request a conditional use permit to allow for the helipad to operate.
