Arrests

Loriann Fraser , 42, of 9 Hanover St., was arrested and charged with trespassing and receiving stolen property at 10:37 a.m. Thursday.

Edin Recinos , 40, of 31 N Common St., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and without a license at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday.

Roberto Santiago , 35, of 33 Lincoln St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, and indecent assault and battery at 6:45 a.m. Thursday.

Adam Taub , 33, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating under the influence at 1:29 a.m. Thursday.

Accidents

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday at Central Square; at 2:23 p.m. Wednesday at Blake and Willow streets; at 3:02 p.m. Wednesday at 186 Henry Ave.; at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at Commercial and Summer streets; at 3:54 p.m. Thursday on N Franklin Street.

A hit-and-run motor vehicle crash was reported at 11:31 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant and Tremont streets.

Assaults

A report of an assault at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday at Commercial and Summer streets; at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday at 41 Light St.

Theft

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday on Tower Way.


NAHANT

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday on Maple Avenue. A caller reported the boarded-up front door was ajar and the red tape had been ripped down. Police reported the insurance company was on scene and there was nothing unusual to report.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 9:47 a.m. Sunday at Reading Cooperative Bank on Nahant Road. A caller thought a latch may have been tampered with because the ATM door would not shut. Police reported that while the latch was not working properly, it did not appear to have been tampered with.

Arrests

Ashley M. Hunt , 30, of 286 Newbury St., Apt. 57, was arrested on five warrants at 12:13 p.m. Wednesday.

Joseph M. Melchionda , 27, of 28 Essex Green Drive, Apt. D, was arrested on a warrant and charged with assault and battery; malicious destruction of property; intimidating a witness, juror, police officer or court official; kidnapping; and assault with a dangerous weapon at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:15 a.m Wednesday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive; at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday at Gulf Station at 136 Newbury St.; at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday at 76 Andover St.; at 10:11 a.m. Thursday at 4 Margin St. and 2 Proctor St.; at 10:49 a.m. Thursday at 288 Washington St. and 2 Lynn St.

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday at Legal Seafoods at 210L Andover St. A motor vehicle reportedly struck a pole and multiple vehicles, causing significant damage.

A hit-and-run motor vehicle crash was reported at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday at The Cheesecake Factory at 210C Andover St.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at 22 Tracey St. A caller reported a youth in a hoodie was ringing doorbells.

Suspicious activity involving an altercation between a man and a woman was reported at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at 84 Wallis St. and 35 Tremont St.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday at Nordstrom at 210N Andover St.

A report of a stolen package at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday at 17 Truman Road.

A larceny was reported at 7:56 p.m. Wednesday at 145A Summit St. A caller reported someone was constantly coming onto the property and taking things.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 9:10 a.m. Thursday at 8223 Crane Brook Way. The property manager reported a past breaking and entering. No people were inside of the unit. Police reported the nature of the incident was property damage.

Michael F. Schena Jr. , 52, of 302 Central St., was arrested for probation violation at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:23 p.m. Wednesday at Central and Stone streets; at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday at the Square One Mall at 1201 Broadway.

Assaults

A report of a bar fight at 9:23 p.m. Wednesday at K Pub at 22 Lincoln Ave.

Complaints

A report of a fight at 12:17 p.m. Wednesday on Newhall Avenue.
