WATCH THE VIDEO. WHO IS THE MAN? WHO BURGLARIZED MY HOME?

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A personal note to our readers — the BocaNewsNow.com followers who visit this website more than two million times each month.
My home in West Delray Beach was burglarized on December 23rd while my family and I were out of town. The thief managed to scale the side of a two-story home in the gated community of Seven Bridges around 7:20 p.m., slash a screen, enter a bedroom, steal several valuable items, then jump down from the patio and vanish into the night.
The Vector Security alarm was on but evaded by the thief, who may have been working with the man you see in the video below. Vector will be terminated. Do you know who the man is? Does he sound familiar?
The gated community has been the subject of home burglary and security stories over the past several years. It is unfair to write about other people’s misfortunes and not my own. It is also unfair to not ask the same questions: how did a thief get into a community with heavy security, then enter and exit without being seen? The perpetrator(s) avoided all area cameras except a brief appearance on one camera, above. Very few people knew the home was unoccupied.
Those who have heard of the break-in have shared many theories. I want to put one to rest: there is no indication this is the work of someone who doesn’t like this website, or has a problem with BocaNewsNow.com’s reporting. But if you know differently, we ask you to come forward.
$1000 REWARD FOR INFORMATION, RETURN OF ITEMS.
We are limiting information about the break-in while the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation. However, MetroDesk Media, LLC, the owner of BocaNewsNow.com, is offering $1000 for either the return of stolen items, or actionable information resulting in the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved. You can either call the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 4 at 561-688-4760, or call, text or tip BocaNewsNow.com. Call or text 866-4-FL-News , or use the news tip form below. We will determine, in our sole discretion, what warrants the reward. But BocaNewsNow.com would be thrilled to pay it for the return of items, or actionable information resulting in an arrest and conviction.
To all who have hurricane glass and believe it will stop a break-in, think again. The glass above is high-quality glass that was shattered with a pressure device — just like what you might have in your car. Advice from police: light up your yards, check your alarm system, invest in glass break detectors, note that Alexa has a glass break detector built-in, and do whatever you can to make sure your home appears occupied.
If you have information that could help the investigation, please come forward. BocaNewsNow.com wishes you and yours a happy and healthy New Year.Name * First Last Email * Phone What Is Your News Tip? * File Upload Click or drag a file to this area to upload.
