The trolley-shaped kiosk inspired by the old Pacific Electric Railway of Los Angeles is back on Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This kiosk is a small-scale version of a red trolley car and was once used as a merchandise stand called Trolley Gifts starting back in 1994 when Sunset Boulevard opened.

The characters of “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” will join this year’s Disney Junior Live on Tour. This year’s show is Costume Palooza. Other characters from Disney Junior, including Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Doc McStuffins, the Puppy Dog Pals, and Alice from Disney Junior’s newest hit series “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery” will also return to the tour. The tour will be from September 2 through December 17, stopping at more than 80 North American cities.

Construction will begin overnight on Monday, May 16 on Center Street in Magic Kingdom to replace the pavement. Center Street is an eastern off-shoot of Main Street, U.S.A. that has some seating and a silhouette artist kiosk. The area will be closed to guests starting May 17 and is expected to last about four weeks. The silhouette kiosk may move or close temporarily for construction.

Refurbishment projects have taken over New Orleans Square at Disneyland, making it a maze of construction walls. Between Pirates of the Caribbean being closed for major refurbishment, as well as Blue Bayou, and the traffic improvement project underway throughout the walkways of the land, and the Fantasmic! equipment refurbishments both on Tom Sawyer Island and on the New Orleans Square side, the land has become a real headache to visitors.
