Iwundu cleared the league's health and safety protocols Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Iwundu signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Hawks on Dec. 22, but he played in just one game before landing in COVID-19 protocols. During that contest, he recorded two points and five rebounds across 23 minutes. It's unclear if he will be available for Wednesday's contest against the Bulls, but if he is, he will likely have a significant role as the Hawks still have 11 other players sidelined due to the NBA's protocols.
