Most of Walt Disney World’s restaurants are magical and immersive in their own ways, but not all Disney World restaurants are necessarily perfect for everybody.
Depending on your cravings and on your personality type, Disney restaurants tend to click more with certain people.
And we think we can tell a lot about you based on your Disney restaurant preferences!
Just like all of us Disney fans, each Disney World restaurant is totally distinct and unique! Whether you prefer something more casual and fun or something more over-the-top fancy-schmancy, here’s what your favorite Disney World restaurant says about you:
California Grill
If you’ve got an undying love for this classic American restaurant atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort, then we can pretty much confirm that you’re an old soul and a classic traditionalist.
This is true in a general sense, but also specifically with your food choices. You’ve got a refined palate, a love for fine wine, and a willingness to spend disposable income on a good meal.
Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen
Are you a Skipper Canteen super fan? Then there’s a strong chance that you’re known for your dad jokes and you love to have campy fun. You’re also likely adorable and probably the life of any party.
You’re also not afraid to try something new. You live for fun adventure, both in terms of food and in terms of literal jungle adventure.
Be Our Guest
Unsurprisingly, if Be Our Guest is your favorite Disney World restaurant, then you’re a princess at heart and you’re not afraid who knows it. High-quality haute cuisine is less important to you than eating grey frosting in a literal castle.
Generally, you love a good romance, and you’re a sucker for fairy tales and magical happy endings. To state the obvious, Beauty & the Beast is your favorite movie.
Space 220
Ready to jettison yourself hundreds of miles into space for a meal? No doubt that you’re daring, pretty fearless, and love to explore the unknown.
A lover of all things sci-fi, you’re constantly seeking out what’s new, weird, and wild. In terms of dining, that means you’re not timid to eat and drink things that come in unnatural colors or with ingredients like “Moon Dust” and whatever “B’lure” is.
Rose & Crown
If the cozy confines of this rustic EPCOT pub is your ultimate happy place, then it’s clear that you secretly wish you were British and maybe sometimes speak to yourself in a British accent under your breath — ya know, just for fun.
A fan of all things U.K., your ideal comfort food is fish & chips, you don’t mind a gloomy day, and although you’re obviously a Disney fan, you’re low-key obsessed with Harry Potter…
The Hollywood Brown Derby
Ever the glamour queen, anyone who prefers The Hollywood Brown Derby is someone who lives for vintage (and decadent) Americana and old-school Hollywood pizzaz.
You love to get dolled up for a nice meal, and pretend that you’re strolling a red carpet en route to your dinner table. Classic American items, like Cobb salads and Manhattans, are your love language.
Woody’s Lunch Box
Is Woody’s Lunch Box your favorite restaurant in Disney World?
This says a lot about you. Namely, your palate stopped developing around age seven and you’re fine with it. Also, we adore you and support you.
Tiffins
When dining in Disney World, you can go the route of Mickey Waffles and Churros and Dole Whip, or you can eat North African-spiced Tofu and Tamarind-based Short Rib at a place like Tiffins.
If you fall into the latter category, you’re likely a cultured and well-traveled savant. You’re an ardent foodie who never orders the same thing twice. You always want to try something new, and post about it on Instagram. Also, you’re the type who likes to share menu items (i.e. take bites from other peoples’ plates), rather than just stick with your own entree.
Satu’li Canteen
Elsewhere in Animal Kingdom, there’s a colorful little place called Satu’li Canteen. If this is your must-eat Disney World restaurant, then you’re the type of person who likes to customize their meal and mix-and-match.
You like to keep things casual and quirky, both in terms of your food, your style, and your lifestyle in general. In your mind, boba goes with everything.
Homecomin’
As a fan of Homecomin’, you’re obviously a Southern sweetheart whom everybody loves. You’re the life of the party, and the type of person who hugs everyone, even if they’re just meeting for the first time.
Ever the doting angel, you’re a consummate people-pleaser, always making sure everyone around you is happy and comfortable. Especially when it comes to pleasing people through comfort food.
Chef Mickey’s
Clearly, fine dining is not a priority for you. In fact, you don’t really care much about what’s on your plate at all. Here at Chef Mickey’s, it’s all about the Disney whimsey.
In fact, you are the ultimate Disney super fan. You pick your restaurants based on proximity to Mickey and Minnie. What’s on the menu — or the cost — is an afterthought.
The Edison
Ever the over-the-top eccentric, if you love The Edison the most, then we can surmise that you’re the type with a flare for the dramatic. Your main interests include theater, flashy garb, showmanship, and sheer decadence.
You’re averse to anything “classic” or “traditional.” Even if it’s something familiar, like bacon, you need everything with a twist. You need bacon served on a mini clothesline.
Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood
Basically the anti-Chef Mickey’s, if you prefer tapas, seafood, and steak, then you clearly feel the complete opposite. A lover of fine food and wine, the quality of the cuisine, and the elegance of the atmosphere, are all of the utmost importance to you.
Sure, you’re in Disney World on purpose (presumably), but if we’re being honest, you’re not big on whimsy, nostalgia, or Disney in general.
