Claudel Bazile, Miramar senior defensive lineman: Bazile was a dominant pass-rusher for Miramar, racking up 67 tackles, 31 tackles for loss and 17 sacks as the Patriots won a district title and reached the regional semifinals. Bazile is a Liberty commit.
Armondo Blount, Dillard freshman defensive lineman: Blount wasted no time in making a name for himself in his freshman year. He had 63 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and a team-leading 13 sacks. He holds offers from Florida State, Iowa State and Miami.
Jayvant Brown, Deerfield Beach junior linebacker: Brown, a preseason Super 11 pick, racked up 37 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and a fumble recovery. Brown is a four-star prospect and has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and more.
Percy Courtney, Western senior linebacker: Courtney was a dominant linebacker his senior year, leading the team with 111 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. He also had two fumble recoveries.
Derrieon Craig, St. Thomas Aquinas senior linebacker: Craig was the Raiders’ leading tackler, finishing the season with 93 total tackles. He had four tackles for loss, two sacks, one interceptions, two caused fumbles and had five fumble recoveries.
Harlem Howard, Deerfield Beach junior defensive back: Howard was a turnover machine for the Bucks, picking off nine passes. Howard has offers from Coastal Carolina and Western Kentucky.
Conrad Hussey, St. Thomas Aquinas junior defensive back: Hussey had a breakout season in the Raiders’ secondary, finishing the year with 26 tackles and four interceptions. He also scored a crucial touchdown on a blocked field goal attempt in a win over Dillard.
Antione Jackson, Dillard sophomore defensive back: Jackson excelled in a deep Panthers secondary. He had 31 tackles and four interceptions. The Dillard sophomore is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports and has offers from Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami and more.
Donnell Johnson, Flanagan senior defensive lineman: Johnson was a dominant force for the Falcons. He had 50 tackles, 23 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Johnson also had two forced fumbles and a pass breakup.
Nyjalik Kelly, Dillard senior defensive lineman: Kelly missed time his senior year, but he still ended the season with 58 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Kelly is a four-star prospect and has offers from Florida State, Miami, Oregon, Indiana, LSU and more.
King Mack, St. Thomas Aquinas junior defensive back: Mack was a key player in St. Thomas Aquinas’ secondary, finishing the season with 54 tackles and four interceptions.
Kyrie Samuel, St. Thomas Aquinas senior defensive lineman: Samuel was a disruptive defensive lineman this season, ending the year with 43 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and six sacks.
