Semi Driver In Critical Condition After Rolling Over In Clark County
11/23/2021 (westernkansasnews) Garden City, Ks – One driver was seriously injured Wednesday in Clark County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 6:00 P.M. on U-160 about 6 miles west of Ashland. The KHP says a 2019 International Semi, Driven by Ronnie Carpenter, 68, Arkansas, was traveling East bound on U-160.
The semi left the roadway to the right, and overcorrected as it returned to the road. The driver then laid the semi over on its passenger side as it slide to a rest in the South ditch.
Carpenter was air lifted to Stormont Vail Trauma Center in Topeka with serious injuries. Carpenter was wearing a seat belt.
