LITHOPOLIS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two boys, ages 5 and 2, were among four people killed Wednesday in an apparent murder-suicide.
Fairfield County Sheriff Alex Lape said killed were Joseph Anderson Jr., 5, Jeffrey Anderson 2, and Kiara Anderson, 29, of Lithopolis. The suspected shooter is Joseph Anderson, 30, who was also found dead in the same home and is believed to have died by suicide.
Deputies had responded to the 300 block of Westview Terrace on a call of a suspected shooting.
A Facebook post from village officials said police and medical personnel were called to the Cherry Hill Court and Westview Terrace area on report of a “situation.”
Lithopolis police and Bloom-Carroll fire officials also responded to the scene.
