Emmerdale has revealed a frightening ordeal ahead for Ellis Chapman in the New Year.
Ellis (Aaron Anthony) will be left for dead as Cain Dingle blames him for a terrifying situation involving Belle and Kyle.
As we've already revealed, Ellis will take Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Kyle (Huey Quinn) away on an excursion to the forest just after Christmas.
When Ellis receives a call from his other love interest Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade), he has to leave abruptly. Belle then realises that Ellis has her car keys, which means that she has been left abandoned with Kyle in freezing conditions.

In scenes airing in early January, Kyle has been admitted to hospital following the ordeal.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) harshly blames Ellis for everything and even orders Marlon (Mark Charnock) to evict him from Tall Trees cottage.
This sparks a full-blown feud between the Dingles and the Chapmans.

Later, Cain continues to take action and abandons Ellis in the middle of nowhere out on the moors, claiming that it's his punishment for Kyle being in hospital.
The next morning, Ellis is freezing and curled up on the floor on the moors, with bloodied and bare feet.
His father Al (Michael Wildman) and brother Billy (Jay Kontzle) realise that he's missing and that Cain must be responsible.
Al confronts Cain, who denies any knowledge of what has happened to Ellis.

The tables later turn on Cain when he finds Al watching Kyle sleeping at the hospital.
