When Jay Hill took over as defensive coordinator for BYU, one of the first things that he started to do was get to work on re-tooling the defensive tackle position. He hired Sione Po'uha to coach the position, bringing a new kind of credibility and experience to the coaching staff (as you would expect when you add a local legend and former NFL standout to your coaching staff). Then, Hill was instrumental in the addition of Boise State transfer Jackson Cravens. The former Timpview High product came to BYU for his final year of eligibility.
