According to the Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition, out of 401 Idahoans surveyed, 27.2 percent of victims self-identified as sex trafficking victims.
On top of that, over 71 percent of victims are women.
The coalition is holding a public forum on human trafficking on Wednesday, Jan.12 at the Flying M Coffeeshop in Caldwell.
The goal of the forum is to discuss what is human trafficking, who the "targets" are, what are the warning signs, and what you can do if you encounter a trafficking scenario.
