Edwards wasn't reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to Monday's game against the Vikings, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

Edwards will miss his fifth game of the season after he was placed on the list Dec. 13. According to Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Edwards is unvaccinated, and because he wasn't reinstated to the roster after completing the five-day quarantine associated with players deemed to be high-risk close contacts, it's safe to conclude that the defensive end tested positive for the virus. That means Edwards will have to complete a 10-day quarantine period from his initial positive test, putting his availability for the Bears' Week 16 matchup with the Seahawks in question.
