Emmerdale hints Nate Robinson to be caught out by cheating secret

Emmerdale is lining up a difficult festive period for Nate Robinson and Tracy Metcalfe, just weeks after the couple finally appeared to get their relationship back on track.

Despite a rocky start to December, things have started to look up for Nate and Tracy – and after Christmas, their romance seems to be going from strength to strength.

Alas, the course of true love never did run smooth in Soapland.

In scenes set to air next week, Nate and Tracy turn their attention to setting a date for their wedding, but things soon go south when Nate's recent overnight stay at Fiona's place is brought back into question.

As Nate and Tracy make plans for their big day, Nate's world is suddenly turned upside down.

Is Emmerdale's latest bombshell related to Nate's secret night of passion with Fiona – and will Tracy finally discover the truth about what happened that night?

We'll have to wait a little while longer to find out, but with Amy Walsh set to bid a temporary farewell to the soap while she takes maternity leave, something's telling us Nate has some explaining to do.

Opening up about the challenges of filming while pregnant, Amy – who plays Tracy – recently admitted that she's now "ready" to take a break and prepare for her new arrival.

"I'm ready for it. It's quite hard physically and mentally trying to get my head round everything and I'm tired," she explained. "Also, trying to hide the bump was getting so ridiculous!

"I've had cushions in front of me and there's been a lot of coats and scarves. Plus my fingers are so swollen! I don't feel like me anymore and I'm so bloated."

Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, December 27 on ITV. Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
