The scores were 38-37 for Williams, 38-37 for Gore and 40-35 for Williams.

In the first, both men were throwing some big punches, but there wasn't much landing between the two initially. but Williams landed a few good shots in the final minute to bloody the nose of Gore.

During the second, Williams continued to land accurate power shots. But later on, a big right hand by Gore really staggered Williams and forced him to hold on. A moment later, Williams a few punches to rock Gore - but there was time given when Williams pushed Gore down to the mat and nearly through the ropes. Gore returned the favor by pushing down Williams a moment later. When the fight restarted, it was bombs away by both with Williams having the advantage.

They were trading at the start of the third, with both getting rocked during the round. A knockdown was scored when Williams unloaded on Gore against the ropes. Gore beat the count, with Williams having the edge with punches landing. In the fourth and final round, the action was pretty close with both landing punches.
