Irwin earned his first point in five games with the Capitals. He was busy in just 4:55 of ice time, logging some shifts as a winger. The 33-year-old blueliner has added 12 shots on net, nine hits and six blocked shots this season, though he may return to being a healthy scratch once the Capitals can ice a full complement of forwards.
