Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was officially listed as “limited” for a walkthrough practice session yesterday, according to the team’s mandatory injury report.
Coach Sean McDermott told media earlier in the day that he was opting for a walkthrough practice due to extra snaps the team had taken during the overtime loss in the heat in Tampa Bay. McDermott also confirmed Allen’s status before the session.
Allen injured his foot in the fourth quarter of that overtime loss to the Bucs Sunday, though he did finish the game, he was visibly limping and attempting to keep weight off the left leg.
Bills linebacker Tyrel Dodson was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, but McDermott announced that linebacker A.J. Klein was removed from the list and re-activated to the roster yesterday.
Also appearing on yesterday’s injury report was Mario Addison and Cole Beasley for the typical veteran rest days, Taiwan Jones and Emmanuel Sanders both did not participate and Jerry Hughes, Star Lotulelei and Tommy Sweeney were all limited.
The Bills will host the Carolina Panthers Sunday with pregame starting at noon on 100.1 The HERO.
