The Texans designated Jenkins (knee) to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Jenkins tore his PCL in Week 11 and has spent the last three weeks on injured reserve. After returning to practice Wednesday, he will have 21 days to be added to the active roster. However, if he isn't activated, then he will revert back to injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
