Concert event of Karen Carpenter music at Goodspeed
The holiday songs and chart-topping hits of the Carpenters are the focus of a show coming to the Goodspeed Opera House.
“Merry Christmas Darling: Heidi Kittenring Sings Karen Carpenter” runs Thursday through Sunday.
Kettenring is from Chicago, where her credits include starring in “Wicked."
Her “Merry Christmas Darling” was described by Around the Town Chicago as “Glorious. An elegant, tear jerking, sing along concert event."
People attending the show have to provide proof of being fully vaccinated or provide negative test results from an antigen test taken within six hours of curtain time or PCR test within 72 hours of curtain time. Everyone inside the theater has to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status, except when drinking in the bar or outdoor areas.
