Dauphin had a shorthanded assist, three shots on net, one hit and one blocked shot over 15:54 of ice time in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Pittsburgh.

Dauphin did the heavy lifting on Jonathan Drouin's shorthanded tally in the second period. He badgered Chad Ruhwedel behind the net then corralled a loose puck off the stick of Mike Matheson and found Drouin alone in front. It was the second consecutive game with an assist for Dauphin. He practiced on the fourth line Monday but logged a regular shift as part of the second line Tuesday and was on ice for both Montreal goals.
