Houston Signs 10 During Early Signing Period

Cougars welcome newest class on Wednesday

HOUSTON -- Houston Football Head Coach Dana Holgorsen announced the signing class of 10 members Wednesday, the first day of the NCAA's early signing period.
 
The group is comprised of two cornerbacks, two offensive linemen, two wide receivers, one defensive end, one defensive tackle, one linebacker and one tight end. Members of Houston's class hail from three different states. The state of Texas is represented by eight signees.
 
The Cougars hauled in three of the Top-10 highest-rated signees in program history per 247Sports, including wide receiver Matthew Golden (No. 4), offensive lineman Demetrius Hunter (No. 8) and cornerback Moses Alexander (No. 9).
 
The early signing period runs through the end of the day Friday with National Signing Day scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022.
