Van Riemsdyk is not expected to be eligible to play against the Jets on Saturday due to differing COVID-19 regulations between the United States and Canada. He will play against the Blackhawks in Chicago and then immediately return to D.C. following the contest. The defenseman has recorded seven points and 12 hits through 24 games this season.
