Caught on video: Moped driver toppled after crashing with Doña Ana County sheriff’s deputy

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- Newly-released dashcam video shows the driver of a moped flipping into the air after crashing with Doña Ana County sheriff's deputy.

The sheriff's office says Deputy Manny Maynes was cited following an investigation.

According to the sheriff's office, the crash happened on Nov. 1 at the W. Picacho and Motel Blvd. intersection.

The sheriff's office says the driver of the moped was injured.

The video shows the driver's head slamming onto the hood of the car before flipping into the air then falling to the street.
