The Bears placed Edwards on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
Edwards returned from a two-game absence due to a rib injury to play 19 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Packers, but he now finds himself at risk of missing time due to a new issue. According to Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Edwards is unvaccinated, so he'll be away from the team for a minimum of five days even if he's been deemed a close contact of an infected person. If Edwards has tested positive himself, he'll be out for at least 10 days, meaning he won't be available to play in the Bears' Week 15 game against the Vikings next Monday night.
