Nashville SC traded their 2022 first-round pick to the LA Galaxy on Sunday for forward Ethan Zubak.

Zubak, 23, had three goals and one assist in 36 games (17 starts) with the Galaxy since 2019, including a goal and an assist in 18 matches in 2021.

“Ethan has the potential to be a unique attacking player with his combination of athleticism and tenacity,” Nashville general manager Mike Jacobs said in a statement. “He is dangerous in and around the box and is a constant threat. He is a really good fit for our club.”

The Galaxy acquired the No. 21 overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft on Jan. 11.

Earlier Sunday, Nashville acquired veteran forward Teal Bunbury from the New England Revolution in exchange for up to $150,000 in general allocation money.
