David Alan Grier On His Role In Spectrum’s Joe Pickett and Clifford The Big Red Dog [Exclusive Interview]
In Spectrum’s Joe Pickett, we follow a new game warden played by Michael Dorman. He and his family are going to have to deal with a small town that is on the verge of economic collapse, which has turned some folks onto a darker path. He will have to figure out the mystery of a body left at his house and as well as who he can really depend on.
One person we see early on in Joe Pickett that Pickett leans on for advice is the previous game warden, Vern Dunnegan played by David Alan Grier. Dunnegan had served in that position for years. During which time he had learned how to deal with people and situations. Something that Pickett may discover too late.

With Joe Pickett now on Spectrum, LRM Online’s Emmanuel Gomez spoke with David Alan Grier for his role in the series. He gives us some details about the show and what we can expect. He also talks about what kind of mentor if any his character will be for Pickett. Grier has also recently starred in Paramount Pictures’ family feature film, Clifford the Big Red Dog. Based on the book series of the same name, follows a dedicated game warden (Michael Dorman) and his family as they navigate the shifting socio-political climate of a small rural town on the verge of economic collapse. When a murder victim winds up on Joe’s doorstep, a larger conspiracy looms, and the Picketts find themselves in the crosshairs. Without the support of local law enforcement, Joe alone must decide what it means to be a good man and a good father in a world on the edge.
