Browns vs Ravens inactives report for Week 14: Big inactive and new right tackle for Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens face off in Week 14 on the shores of Lake Erie. After falling to the Ravens in Week 12, the Browns got a chance to rest during their bye week. Baltimore, on the other hand, had a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the game about 90 minutes away, both teams have released their inactives list for today’s game. Both teams have a number of players who will miss the game either on injured reserve or on the COVID-19 list that do not show up on these lists.

With so many players missing, both teams will have a lot of backups playing important snaps today. These are the official inactive players for this week:

Browns

  • WR Anthony Schwartz
  • CB Greg Newsome II
  • S Ronnie Harrison Jr.
  • S Richard LeCounte III
  • TE Harrison Bryant
  • DT Tommy Togiai

The big-name for the Browns is Harrison. He was questionable coming into the game and will miss the matchup. With Newsome also down, the team’s secondary will be limited. Somewhat surprising to have LeCounte inactive despite Harrison’s status but the team did elevate Javonte Moffatt this week.

The team announced that rookie James Hudson III will start at right tackle as well.

Ravens

  • CB Jimmy Smith
  • FB Patrick Ricard
  • OL Patrick Mekari
  • WR Miles Boykin
  • TE Nick Boyle

A few big names out for Baltimore with Smith, Ricard and Boyle a big part of their team. Both teams are using a lot of backups and young guys to fill important roles today.
