Poehling had an assist in Saturday's 4-1 loss to St. Louis.
Poehling was involved in a puck battle to the left of Blues goalie Charlie Lindgren and managed to pass it out to a closing Alexander Romanov, who beat the goalie over his left shoulder. Poehling provided an initial shot of offense when first called up from AHL Laval, but the center has just two points over the last nine contests. Due to injuries, he's moved up to the second line, although an in-game adjustment Saturday moved him back to the third line when the goal was scored.
