Ekblad earned the secondary assist on Sam Bennett's first-period tally. The 25-year-old Ekblad has cemented himself as one of the best blueliners in the league with eight goals, 16 assists, 86 shots and a plus-21 rating through 26 contests this season. He's on pace to shatter his career high of 41 points in 67 games from the 2019-20 season.
