Famed Mexican TV and film actress Carmen Salinas dies at 82

EL PASO, Texas (KDBC) — Mexican film and television star, Carmen Salinas died Thursday night, her family announced.

The family disclosed her passing on social media Thursday night.
The actress died after she suffered a stroke in November that left her in a coma. She was 82 years old.
For more than 60 years, Salinas appeared in films and Mexican soap operas known as 'telenovelas.'

In a statement, her family said it will later announce details about her funeral services.
