EXO Kai Reveals the Reason He Believes Fellow Member Sehun Was Meant to be an Actor

Recently, EXO member Kai made a guest appearance on the December 8 broadcast of SBS Power FM's radio show "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time," which is hosted by actress Choi Hwa Jung.

During his radio broadcast appearance, Kai mentioned his fellow EXO member, Sehun, is currently acting in SBS' popular drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up."

On the broadcast, Kai had nothing but praises for Sehun as an actor. "Sehun is such a great actor. He is always doing his best as an actor as well. I have known for more than 10 years now, ever since we were both still trainees. And at that time, he even received acting lessons," Kai said.

Kai went on to reveal the reason that made him believe Sehun was meant to become an actor, citing his good looks like one of the biggest factors.

"He was so good looking frm the very first day he joined our agency [SM Entertainment]. He was just so good looking," Kai stated.

The "Peaches" singer also confessed that if he were one of SM Entertainment's training staff, he would have also made Sehun get acting lessons with his good looks.

Kai was also asked why he didn't get acting lessons just like Sehun when he was a trainee, to which Kai explained was due to dancing.

"I started dancing ever since I was eight years old. The only thing that I knew in the world was how to dance. I didn't even think to try anything else. I just thought that I had a different path compared to Sehun's," Kai explained.

However, as the years went by, Kai realized just how related the two were. "But later on I realized just how related dancing and acting was. So, that's when I started attending acting classes," he states.

Kai concludes by saying that although he got into acting really late, he still wanted to learn ways to express various emotions by watching Sehun act and once again praises the actor for his incredible acting.

EXO Kai's Music Video for 'Peaches' Surpasses 30 Million Views

In other news, Kai recently made a solo comeback with his second mini album "Peaches" back on November 30, a year after he made his solo debut with his eponymous mini album "KAI."

On December 6, the music video for his album's title track of the same name, "Peaches," had surpassed 30 million views on Youtube - just six days after the song's release.

This means that "Peaches" remain the fastest music video by an SM Entertainment solo artist to achieve this milestone and also sets a new personal record for Kai; beating his previous record of 25 days and five hours for his "Mmmh" music video.
