VIDEO: Driver sought after chasing man's car, shooting at him in Brooklyn attempted assault

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was shot at after a driver chased his car, causing it to crash in Brooklyn in October, police said Wednesday as they released video of the suspect.

Cops said the incident happened as the victim drove northbound on Lewis Avenue, near Vernon Avenue, at around 12:02 a.m. on Oct. 6 when the suspect driving a dark Genesis SUV began to chase his car.

After the victim crashed his car, the suspect got out of his SUV and discharged his firearm multiple times at him. However, police said he was not successfully hit.

The NYPD said the suspect then sped off in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident.

Authorities said the man was last seen wearing all black clothing.
