Andrew Hawkins: Ki-Jana Carter, No. 1 pick of Bengals in 1995 NFL Draft, wasn't a bust

Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Andrew Hawkins and former Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Joe Thomas, who both have extensive experience - including as National Football League analysts - as television personalities, were among those engaging Tuesday on Twitter in an interesting argument.
Was Ki-Jana Carter, the first overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Bengals, a bust?
A serious knee injury limited Carter to 747 rushing yards over four seasons in Cincinnati. He later played one season with Washington and parts of two seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but retired with a total of 1,144 yards on the ground between his rookie year of 1996 and his retirement in 2004.
He had run for 2,829 yards over just three seasons at Penn State.
Tuesday's argument started when Thomas pointed out that NFL analyst and former star receiver Keyshawn Johnson said Carter was not a bust.
