Three Apple Watch Models Planned For 2022

This year’s Apple Watch was honestly slightly disappointing. It was not the massive overhaul that many had hoped for, and apart from a slight redesign of the external body where Apple made it slightly larger, internally it was essentially the same as its predecessor, so if you are holding off for next year’s model, here are some details for you.

According to a report from MacRumors, they obtained a note to investors by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who claims that there will be three new Apple Watch models launching in 2022. Kuo claims that one of the models will be the Series 8, which is to be expected, the other will be another Apple Watch SE model, and the third will be a rugged Apple Watch.

If the rugged model sounds familiar, it is because earlier this week, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman shared in his Power On newsletter something similar, and given that Gurman and Kuo are some of the most accurate when it comes to Apple related predictions and insider information, there is a good chance that this could be true.

The rugged model will probably be the most interesting out of the bunch because it is unclear what kind of design approach Apple will be taking, but it might appeal to those who want an Apple Watch but are afraid that it might be too fragile.
