Uniland plans new residential complex

Amherst-based developer Uniland Development Company plans to develop a residential complex at the corner of North French Road and CrossPoint Parkway. The $45 million development would include four buildings, creating more than 200 residential units. The project needs to be submitted to the Town of Amherst Planning Board, which should happen in early 2022.

Four investors, under the name of JWEB Properties LLC, recently bought the former LeeLee’s Clothing Store at 5444 Main Street in Williamsville.  Business First reports the plan is to convert that site into a taproom.  it will have a two-story patio facing Main - and interior renovations for a new bar and kitchen space.  An opening is projected for second quarter 2022.

The grand reopening of the remodeled Tops in Amherst is tomorrow at 11am.  This $2 million renovation project at 2351 Maple Road marks the 19th western New York Tops location to be updated with a new look and a renewed focus on fresh departments.
