VIDEO: Suspect punches man, 68, in the head inside Manhattan military surplus store

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are trying to track down a suspect who punched a man in the head while inside a Manhattan store last month.

On Nov. 20 just before 6 p.m., police said the incident unfolded at Kaufman Army and Navy Store at 319 West 42nd Street.

It was there that a 68-year-old man became embroiled in a dispute with another  man, police said.

Video released by police shows a close-up angle of the fight, which depicts the suspect shove the victim into the store’s counter.

The victim is seen continuously gesturing and moving the man toward the exit.

Cops said the suspect then punched the man in his head, causing him to bleed and suffer from swelling.

Police said the victim went to a hospital in stable condition, while the suspect fled in a taxi.

The man police are looking for is described as someone with a light complexion, facial hair and a tattoo on his right hand. He was last seen wearing a dark White Sox baseball cap, a black hooded jacket, a red Nike shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
