Josh Heupel’s system would make any wide receiver interested in Tennessee football. The success of Cedric Tillman this year would make wideouts specifically interested, and the Vols have gotten the attention from one particular 2022 Georgia wideout.

Kaleb Webb, a four-star on Rivals and 247Sports and a three-star on ESPN, included the Vols in his top three recently. Coming out of McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Ga., Webb stands between 6’2″ and 6’4″ and weighs in the range of 185 to 195 pounds.

In addition to Tennessee football, the Cobb County receiver included the Michigan Wolverines and the Louisville Cardinals on his list. He was initially committed to the East Carolina Pirates from the end of June until Dec. 5. On3.com revealed the new schools on Twitter Monday afternoon.

There are already three receivers committed to the Vols for 2022, including Marquarius White, Cameron Miller and Charles Nimrod. However, with Jones and JaVonta Payton out of eligibility, they could use all the help they can get.

Of course, UT will likely be covered at wideout specifically for at least three more years, as they still have Tillman and Ramel Keyton, and Kaemen Marley is still on the roster. However, Marley is unproven, so the more players they get there, the better.

Powder Springs isn’t unfamiliar territory for the Vols either, as their current star safety, Jaylen McCollough, hails from that area too. That could help them in trying to lure Webb along with the system Heupel runs.

Currently, Tennessee football is a unanimous favorite on the Rivals Future Cast and 247Sports Crystal Ball and a near-unanimous favorite on the Rivals Fan Future Cast to land Webb. As a result, it appears to be good news for them right now, and they are targeting him heavily, but they can’t let up. As everybody knows, anything can happen on the recruiting trail.
