Watch for slick spots later this evening as temperatures drop back below the freezing point. Meanwhile, it's unlikely northwest Montana will warm up past 32.
Wednesday morning will be slick, mainly for northwest Montana and over the passes. The next weather maker will move in, and a wintry mix and even a window of freezing rain will occur for northwest Montana. Please use caution on icy roads! Showers will move into west central Montana by lunchtime, but mainly as a wintry mix. A cold front is expected later tomorrow evening, and with it gusty winds and a transition back to snow showers. Valleys will see a minor accumulation.
Showers will stick around in the higher terrain Thursday and Friday, and valleys will stay in the 30s for highs. By the weekend, snow showers return to the forecast!
