Star Wars: Ming-Na Wen Hypes Up The Book of Boba Fett's 'Dysfunctional Family'

We are only a few weeks away from the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett and there is little doubt that fans can't wait to see Fennec Shand working with Boba Fett all over again. However, it looks like this awesome team doesn't always get along. Ming-Na Wen has teased the relationship between the former bounty hunters, calling them "a dysfunctional family."

It has already been confirmed that Fennec Shand and Boba Fett work pretty well together. After all, they easily went through a group of Stormtroopers in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, Ming-Na Wen claims that the two still have a hard time getting along.

"The relationship between him and Fennec is a unique one amongst bounty hunters," Wen told Total Film. "Because a lot of times, we're all very solo workers. We don't like collaboration. We don't trust anyone."

She continued by pointing out how the relationship is more like a family but not a typical one.

"It's a very dysfunctional family, but it's a family that honors a code of ethics, and there's a certain set of rules that you have to follow and that's the only way that it would work," Wen said. She then added that although they aren't exactly best friends, the two former bounty hunters agree on one thing.

"I think that's why Fennec and Boba, they're from the old school. We believe in those code of ethics and we respect each other for it," Wen concluded.

It's an interesting way to describe the relationship between Fennec and Boba. But will they manage to work together long enough to take control of Tatooine's criminal underground? We'll find out for sure later this month.

The Book of Boba Fett also stars Temuera Morrison and Jennifer Beals. The series premieres on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
