Bears vs. Packers Prediction, Pick: Will Aaron Rodgers beat Justin Fields or Andy Dalton on Sunday Night Football?

Green Bay fights for the No. 1 seed in the NFC on Sunday Night Football. Here's our pick and prediction for the Bears vs. Packers matchup.

The Chicago Bears will face off against the Green Bay Packers in an intradivisional matchup on Sunday Night Football. Chicago has struggled throughout the 2021 season, posting a 4-8 record with a -86 point differential. Green Bay, meanwhile, has been one of the better teams in the league, entering this game with a 9-3 record and +41 point differential. In this article, you’ll find the NFL odds for this game along with our pick and Bears vs. Packers prediction.

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers pick, prediction | Week 14

  • Spread: Packers -11.5 (Odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook)
  • Moneyline: Bears +450, Packers -630
  • Over/Under: 43.5

Andy Dalton and Justin Fields are both dealing with injuries. Dalton injured his non-throwing hand, but he’s likely to be able to play this weekend. Fields continues to deal with injured ribs, and it’s unknown if he’ll be able to return this early in the week. If neither can start, Nick Foles would be the next in line.

Dalton and Fields each bring something different to the table, although it may not matter, specifically in this matchup. The Bears rank 30th in the NFL in points per game, and they’re averaging 17 points per game over their last three contests, which have mainly featured Dalton.

Green Bay is allowing a league-low .237 points per play at home while giving up only 14.4 points per game at Lambeau Field. The Packers have found tremendous success at home, and they held Chicago to only 14 points in their first matchup of the season. It’s unlikely that the starting QB for the Bears will matter in this game, as Green Bay should have a massive defensive edge regardless.

Bears vs. Packers betting trends

These teams have been opposites in terms of covering the spread this season. Green Bay boasts a league-best 10-2 against the spread (ATS) record, while Chicago owns a 4-8 ATS record in 2021.

The Packers are a perfect 5-0 ATS at home, beating the spread by an average of 7.8 points per game. Unsurprisingly, the Bears have struggled on the road, posting a 2-4 road ATS record this season. They’re failing to cover by an average of 4.2 points per game in those contests.

Chicago and Green Bay have both found the under more often than not this season, as they’ve both hit it in 66.7% of their games.

The Bears are finding the under by an average of 2.6 points per game, while the Packers are hitting it by an average of 4.3.

Bears vs. Packers prediction

Intradivisional games can always be difficult, especially when they’re being played for the second time in a season. With that being said, we have a matchup between one of the best teams in the NFL and a below-average Chicago team with coaching issues.

The Packers have been unbeatable in Green Bay throughout the season, and I don’t expect a struggling Bears team to be the offense or defense that figure them out.

Although the Bears do have some defensive upside, I don’t anticipate them finding much offensive success in this game. Instead, the Packers are in an elite spot to continue their success on Sunday Night Football.

Bears vs. Packers Prediction: Packers 27, Bears 13
