MACOMB TWP. (WWJ) -- An 81-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after a crash in Macomb Township.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, the driver of an Chevy S10 pickup truck apparently turned in front of a Macomb County Department of Roads snowplow truck on North Ave. just after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The pickup driver was trying to turn left from North Ave. onto eastbound 21 Mile Rd. at the time of the crash, officials said.
The pickup driver, identified as a Macomb Township man, was taken by EMS to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The snowplow driver wasn't hurt.
As the investigation continues on Tuesday, the sheriff's office said investigators are still interviewing multiple witnesses and also looking at video of the incident to determine exactly what happened.
