When you sign up for Medicare, you get to choose between "original Medicare" or a Medicare Advantage plan. Original Medicare includes hospital services and medical services. Medicare Advantage plans often offer vision, hearing, dental and prescription drug coverage.
Nationwide, more than 3,800 plans are available, and Texas added 41 Medicare Advantage plans for 2022.
