Weeks after the NBA initiated a tampering probe against the Chicago Bulls' signing of Lonzo Ball—which saw the Bulls lose their next available second round draft pick—Bulls big man Nikola Vucevic fired up the tamper rumors once more. In a picture posted on Instagram that has gotten the attention of Bulls fans everywhere, Nikola Vucevic is seen with Denver Nuggets MVP center Nikola Jokic:
well well well. look at what marco just posted on the ig 👀 pic.twitter.com/RuIUuoRFbY

The prospect of a European twin towers system on the Bulls is certainly tantalizing, especially given the fact that the Bulls are arguably one of the stronger championship competitors in the entirety of the NBA right now. Understandably, Bulls fans have gotten extremely excited about the news, with some even jokingly saying that the tampering charges mean little to Chicago especially after the relatively light sanction imposed on the team for the Lonzo Ball debacle:
We got off one tampering charge we untouchable now https://t.co/1LXY4JZ4Eg pic.twitter.com/3GK5tJD55E

Other fans have even poked fun at Bulls VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas for his supposed role in this Vucevic-Jokic connection:
AK moving different I know he the one who took the pic cause he don’t want no more tampering charges 😭😭😭😭😭 https://t.co/eDT4xHzRop

Whatever the case, there's no denying that Jokic on the Bulls would excite any Chicago fan—and conversely be one of the scariest prospects for the rest of the league. As the Bulls are currently second in the Eastern Conference (just behind the Brooklyn Nets) with a record of 17-8, the possibilities of what a Jokic-Vucevic-Lavine-Ball lineup would look like are enough to make the whole city of Chicago go wild. Of course, fans must also control themselves in that if a trade were to happen, there would most definitely be a hefty price attached to Jokic. Meanwhile, if Chicago were to mimic their strategy for acquiring Ball, and sign Jokic in free agency (and Jokic will become an unrestricted free agent in 2023), there would doubtless be a big contract left for the Bulls to handle with Nikola Jokic.
Meanwhile, there's also the very real (and likely) possibility that the two Nikolas simply caught up over lunch.
