Call of Duty Warzone Pacific - Caldera map

Call of Duty: Warzone is soon getting a brand new map Caldera, which arrives along with the Pacific update. Here's when you can start preloading this massive new update.

Pacific update is certainly one of the most exciting new updates for Call of Duty: Warzone, ever since the free-to-play battle royale launched back in 2020. The Pacific update is set to introduce a brand new map, which is replacing the iconic Verdansk that was available in the game since launch with some makeovers from time to time.

Anyway, the new map brings a lot of sun, lush jungles and many interesting and cool-looking locations but more importantly, it looks very fun. Since many Warzone players are eagerly anticipating to drop onto this new battleground, here's a quick guide regarding the game's download size and preload date.

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific update download size

The update is 45 GB on PlayStation consoles. We are yet to find out the size on other platforms but you can expect it to be over 50 GB. It's a quite large update as expected since we're getting a brand new map and other major additions.

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific preload start date

The pre-load is seemingly starting on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Some players are reporting that update 1.48 is live on their consoles.
