Huge Grudge Match Set For WWE Day 1

The card grows. We are close to the end of the year and that means it is time to get things going on the fresh calendar in a big way. WWE knows that they need to start fast and that is what they are going to be doing with Day 1 on January 1. The show needs to be big and the card is already looking good. Now they have added another match to the show between a pair of legends.

Last week’s edition of Monday Night Raw featured a showdown between the returning Edge and Miz. The two argued on the microphone for several minutes and a feud began between them. This week, Edge was a guest on MizTV, when Miz challenged him to a match at Day 1, with Edge accepting. This will be the fourth ever singles match between the two and the first in over ten years.

We should be in for a showdown. Check out the two of them in action, together and apart:

Opinion: The match is taking place as expected and that is not a bad thing. The two of them have had some great talking segments and we should be in for a solid match to back them up. I’m curious to see how it goes, as Edge has been able to rise to the occasion on the big stage and Miz can backup his words as well. This should be good, and hopefully they can live up to the hype.
