Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Theresa McQueen has made a dangerous plan to expose Ali Shahzad in Hollyoaks.
She has become desperate to expose the evil doctor following his admission to framing Sami for attacking him in scenes that originally aired last week.
Sami's legal partner James Nightingale managed to get him out of jail in Monday's first-look episode, but Sami was still worried he'd end up behind bars over the attack allegations.
Later, Ali caught up with Shaq to try to get his son back on side. Shaq told his father he might accept Ali truly believed he'd done nothing wrong with Misbah all those years ago, but the reality is he'd assaulted her.
"What you did to Misbah, it affected her whole life," Shaq pointed out.
Ali then admitted he didn't actually see Sami attack him, but simply wanted to see "one of Misbah's brats" go down. Theresa intervened before Shaq could fly off the handle and strike Ali.
She would become convinced she needed to get involved once Misabah opened up to her about what she'd endured from Ali in the past… and in recent weeks.
"I just wish the whole world could see how ugly Ali truly is," Misbah explained.
Theresa came up with another plan — she'd apologise to Ali and pretend to be a sympathetic ear in an attempt to record a confession on her phone.
Ali fell right into Theresa's trap when she offered to take him out for a drink, as he suggested she might be the one to spread the word of his 'innocence'.
"I'm going to let everyone know the real you," she vowed once he was just out of earshot.
But, with viewers knowing how dangerous Ali is, has Theresa got herself in hopelessly over her head?
