RENTON, Wash. — One driver was killed and the other was seriously injured in a Monday night crash in Renton.
Renton police tweeted 9:23 p.m. about the crash, located in the 1200 block of Benson Road South. One of the drivers was trapped in a car.
Police later tweeted that one of the drivers had died and the other was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. There were no passengers in either car.
Benson Road South from South Puget Drive up to Renton City Hall will be closed for several hours while police investigate.
