WWE News: Vince McMahon Continues to Mentor Austin Theory, Lashley Attacks Day 1 Title Match Competitors on Raw

– Vince McMahon and Austin Theory’s mentor-mentee relationship continued on Raw, and it led to Theory attacking Finn Balor. Theory and McMahon continued to appear in segments on tonight’s show in which McMahon told Theory to come up with a way to impress him. That led to Theory attacking Balor following the latter’s win over T-Bar:

– Bobby Lashley took the opportunity to lay out the three men who will be competing for the WWE Championship at Day 1 during tonight’s opening match. Big E. defeated Kevin Owens in a steel cage on Monday’s show in a match where Seth Rollins interfered. Rollins attacked both men after the match and Lashley took all three out during the break:
