Longmont police responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue on Saturday in reference to a dog bite. A 35-year-old woman sustained serious injuries from a dog bite. A report was taken.

Longmont officers responded about 10 p.m. Saturday to the 400 block of Lashley Street in reference to a shooting. A man was arrested and taken to jail.

Longmont police responded about 7 p.m. Saturday to the 00 block of Cornell Drive on a report of a disturbance. A man was taken into custody by the Longmont SWAT team for a restraining order violation, obstruction, resisting, felony menacing and an existing warrant.

On Sunday, Longmont police responded to the 30 block of Valentine Lane on reports of shots heard. The Longmont Emergency Communications Center advised that the witnesses heard about two gunshots in the area.

Longmont officers Saturday responded to the 500 block of Lashley Street in reference to a fight involving two men. No charges were pursued.

On Saturday, Longmont police took a report of a vehicle break-in around the 1700 block of Duchess Drive. Car keys and money were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Longmont police were dispatched to a possible DUI in the 600 block of South Emery Street Sunday. A juvenile male was arrested.

On Saturday, Longmont police recovered a stolen motorcycle in the 500 block of Baker Street.
