Lloyd Daniels and Rowan Mackenzie scored 20 points apiece and top-ranked Lubbock Christian University kept playing sticky defense in a 93-48 conquest of Oklahoma City University in non-conference basketball Monday night at the Rip Griffin Center.

LCU (8-0) held Oklahoma City (4-6) to sub-30-percent shooting, and the Stars were the third consecutive opponent the Chaparrals limited to no more than 50 points.

The game counted on LCU's record and was an exhibition for Oklahoma City, an NAIA program and former Chaps rival in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

LCU shot better than 64 percent in building a 50-27 halftime lead and shot 56 percent for the game. Daniels had 11 assists to go along with his 20 points.

The Chaps got 16 points from Parker Hicks, 10 from Jalen Brattain and eight rebounds from each. Aamer Muhammad and Karhan Jones chipped in nine and eight points, respectively.

Dadrian Hoambrecker scored eight points for Oklahoma City.
